Have a question about spelling, a correction to suggest, or a topic you would like us to cover? We would be glad to hear from you. Use the form below and we will do our best to respond.

Send a message

Before you write, you may find a quick answer among our frequently asked questions, which cover the queries we receive most often. If not, the form below reaches us directly. Please include enough detail for us to understand your question — if you are pointing out an error on the site, a link to the page helps.

This form is for general correspondence about writing and spelling. Please do not include sensitive personal information.

What we can help with

This is an independent, educational resource, so the messages we are best placed to answer are about writing and language rather than any product. We are glad to hear from you if you have spotted an error or a broken link on the site, if a guide left a question unanswered, if you disagree with something we have written and can say why, or if there is a spelling, proofreading, or writing topic you wish we covered. Teachers and students sometimes ask whether they may quote or link to our guides — the answer is yes, with a credit, and we are happy to point you to the most relevant page.

There are a few things we cannot do. We do not sell, distribute, or provide technical support for any software, because this site is not a software product and has nothing to download or install. We cannot recommend or endorse a specific commercial tool, since our guidance is deliberately vendor-neutral. And we are not able to proofread or edit documents on request. What we can offer is clear, practical explanation — and the guides on this site are written to help you do that work yourself with confidence.

What to expect

We read every message and reply to as many as we reasonably can, though a single question may sometimes take us a little while. Suggestions for new guides are especially welcome — much of what appears on this site began as a reader's question, and the topics people ask about most are the ones we prioritise. If you would like to know more about who we are, what we stand for, and why the site is free of sales and affiliation, please read about this resource before you write.
